Dog tags are still primarily used as a type of identification which had been worn by many military personnel over the world since the beginning of the  20th Century. Many non-military people now wear dog tags, as they contain important allergy or health information – in the event of an accident or emergency.

They have also became a fashion accessory which can be printed, laser engraved or stamped. Dog Tags are great for pets, luggage, gifts, paintball IDs & many others uses! It was suggested in 2006 that dog-tags would replace wristbands as the fashionable way to support charities’ good causes.
