Cloisonné badges and Lapel Pins are die-struck from copper. A die is created to imprint your design into the metal. The outline of the cloisonné badge or lapel pin and any cut-outs are then cut with another mould. Colours are hand-filled with a powdered glass-like mixture.

Our cloisonné badges and lapel pins are individually hand polished and then plated in your design-specific plating colour. Typical plating colours are gold and silver but several others are available for cloisonné products.

Both Hard enamel badges and Lapel Pins are stamped with your design, filled with powdered glass and enamels, then kiln fired to fuse glass to pin. The surface is polished to create a beautiful product. Enamel colours are separated by a metal keyline.
